My name is Faine Bisset and I am a Counselling Hypnotherapist. I enjoy using a variety of techniques in my sessions (including movement and play elements). My aim is to help create harmony and balance within my clients and their lives. With this in mind, I address their challenges with a holistic approach to healing.
I work with children from 5 years of age and their families, as well as with adults of all ages. I help people to move beyond their challenges by creating a safe environment in which they can express themselves, process their emotions and reframe limiting beliefs and fears. All of which will be affecting their daily living and emotional well-being.
About Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy offers a powerful way in which to uncover and reframe the limiting beliefs and fears we have held for many years on a subconscious level. By allowing these long-held beliefs to surface and become known to us, we can determine how to restructure and reframe them. These shifts will help us move forward in a positive, healthy and integrated way. Thereby building our confidence and self-worth while moving beyond stress, anxiety and other trauma-related challenges in a gentle way.
About Movement
The movement element holds many benefits such as self-expression and releasing trapped emotions affecting our behaviors and habits. Movement also assists us to re-establish a healthy connection between mind, body and emotions. Simultaneously, building trust in ourselves and our bodies. This process promotes a physical way in which to process emotions and challenges beyond the constraints of the conscious mind.
About Play
Play is such an overlooked method of learning and development in children. There seems to be very little time for children to enjoy one of life’s most simple, yet beneficial, pleasures – play. Through methods of play, we aim to establish an effective therapeutic relationship and open pathways of communication. This helps us to determine how best to move forward in order to achieve the desired outcomes for each client – family or individual.
